Kathy Dowd holds a Masters degree in Historic Clothing Design from Bowling Green State University.
Her area of specialization is mid to late 19th century. She teaches "The History of Costume",has been Costume
Coordinator for the Toledo Opera for the past 12 years, as well as a freelance designer for over 30 years. Most recently
she was commissioned to create the ten civil-war era gowns on display at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum, in

Barb Nagy has been a Historical re-enactor for over 25 years. Her areas of interest range
from Medieval through the late 19th century. She will be assisting Kathy in creating custom period under-pinnings for"Sweet Nothings".
